Hogan’s Outfitters owner Ken Kuehl was born and raised in Kewaunee. His appreciation for Lake Michigan and the skill and thrill of fishing was inspired by his father Marvin, and grandfather Alvin “Hogan” Kuehl. Hogan, along with his wife Leona, spent many years as the Sheriff of Kewaunee County. Ken’s maternal grandparents were also lifelong residents of the Kewaunee area and maintained a farm that remained in the family for over 100 years.
Ken is a graduate of UW-Stout. He lived and worked throughout the Midwest in his construction project management career before returning to his hometown of Kewaunee. He spends much of his free time fishing and kayaking.
